Created to celebrate World Gin Day, Around the World in 80 Gins became my biggest virtual adventure yet, taking inspiration from Phileas Fogg's epic journey in Around the World in Eighty Days.
The idea was simple: choose a bottle from each destination and use it as a passport to discover the people, landscapes, botanicals and traditions behind the spirit.
Over 80 days, the journey travelled from the world's established gin-producing nations to unexpected corners where innovative distillers are redefining what gin can be. Along the way, native botanicals, local ingredients and regional traditions revealed how every country brings its own character to the glass.
This was never just about tasting 80 gins. It was about exploring the world through them.
Every bottle became a new destination, uncovering the cultures, history and craftsmanship that make each spirit unique.
