CHRISTMAS 2019 - THE 12 DAYS OF CHRISTMAS SONG
On the Sixth Day of Christmas.... ๐ถ
As the song goes, today my true love gave to me six geese a-laying!
With all those eggs, an Eggnog-style cocktail seemed the obvious choice. This is a gin-based festive twist, served in a coupe and topped with cinnamon and a dried orange wheel. Creamy, warming and suitably indulgent — although thankfully without having to find six geese first!
SIX GEESE A-LAYING ๐ชฟ
40ml gin
20ml coffee liqueur
20ml cream
15ml sugar syrup
1 egg yolk
A pinch of cinnamon
Dry shake all the ingredients first, then shake again with ice. Double strain into a chilled coupe and garnish with a dusting of cinnamon and a dried orange wheel.
A little bit of Christmas in a glass! ๐
