Some of the best journeys begin unexpectedly.

In 2020, when travel came to a standstill, I began exploring the world through my gin collection instead. What started as a virtual tour of Europe soon led me north to Scotland, where I celebrated International Scottish Gin Day by discovering the stories behind some of the country's most remarkable distilleries.

The Highlands quickly captured my imagination. A land of towering mountains, ancient forests, mist-covered glens and shimmering lochs, where history, folklore and nature are woven into every landscape.

Each bottle became a gateway to its place of origin, revealing the people, traditions, legends and botanicals that make Scottish gin so distinctive.
