CHRISTMAS 2019 - THE 12 DAYS OF CHRISTMAS SONG
On the Fifth Day of Christmas.... 🎶
As the song goes, today my true love gave to me five gold rings! 💍💍💍💍💍
So this one was always going to need a little sparkle. I've gone for Malfy Con Limone, the Italian lemon gin, which has five distinctive yellow (I'm going with gold!) rings around the bottle — a rather perfect match for today's verse.
I'm keeping things bright and sunny with a Gin Spritz, bringing in another Italian favourite for a little extra festive flavour. A splash of limoncello, some bubbles and plenty of ice make this a wonderfully easy Christmas drink.
FIVE GOLD RINGS 💍
50ml Malfy Con Limone Gin
25ml Italian limoncello
Prosecco, to top
Soda water, to taste
Build in a large wine glass filled with ice, stir gently and garnish with a lemon wheel. Then sit back and admire those five golden rings! 🍋🥂
